Be aware that in some rare cases two WordPress plugins may conflict with one another, especially those that fall into the categories below. If you have one or more of these installed on your blog, there may be a slight chance that they will interfere with the operation of Affiliate Cookie Stuffer. If this happens, try turning them off, and then one by one turn them back on to see which one is causing the conflict. If there is no improvement, send a support request and we can usually fix the problem.

Affiliate Cookie Stuffer works most effectively on organically grown blogs where you create valuable, unique and original content. Use on most blogs will most likely be trouble-free, but be prepared for the occasional conflict as noted above if you have some really aggressive plugins running on your blog.

Note that although your cookie is placed on the visitor's computer when they visit your blog and read a post or page that you have activated in the plugin setting page, nothing can prevent the visitor from clearing their cookies from time to time. Also, if that visitor goes to another site run by another affiliate for the same product you are promoting before making a purchase that affiliate's cookie may overwrite your cookie and you may not get the commission. This is normal cookie behaviour, with or without the cookie dropping plugin.

Lifetime version based upgrades (see separate offer) include all upgrades required for the current major version (currently v1) of Affiliate Cookie Stuffer. Every now and then Wordpress (WP) upgrades will trigger small tweaks in the code. These will result in a minor release or re-build, for example, v1.4.1. When a major change is required, such as if WP changes significant components of its blogging software as a result of a major release, then Affiliate Cookie Stuffer will be released as the next major version, eg v2.0.0. In such cases, this would trigger the end of the current lifetime version based upgrades period and signal the beginning of the next period. Lifetime customers will be given very generous discounts on the next major version.

In the history of WP, since the first major release in January 2004, there has only been a few significant releases that would have led to a major re-write of the code. Please note that historic changes in code releases cannot be used to predict future code release schedules. Therefore it is not possible to estimate or guarantee the timeframe of the lifetime version based upgrade period.

The plugin is not to be used in those jurisdictions where doing so would be in contravention of state, federal or other applicable laws. You are to make you own enquiries with regard to the legality of using this software in your country and/or with your chosen affiliate programs. The plugin is not for use with affiliate programs that generate a payment per click as this would most likely be considered a fraudulent activity and would result in you being banned and/or prosecuted.

Your reputation as an affiliate is entirely your responsibility and use of the plugin must be in accordance with your best judgment and always in accordance with the terms and conditions of the affiliate/partner programs you are accessing. This plugin is not to be used to simulate unscrupulous forced clicks to multiple merchant sites nor with any CPA based affiliate programs nor with any other merchant program that pays you per click or action. You are advised against using the plugin for anything other than helping to promote products and services in the context of well-written reviews, comparisons and recommendations and always in accordance to the affiliate merchant terms and conditions. If you are not sure you should first make your own enquiries and seek legal advice prior to buying, installing and activating the plugin.

By using this site, buying the plugin, installing or otherwise dealing the plugin in any way, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the risks related to your actions and release all claims over the author of the plugin and the owner of this site.
